Half Time

Have you ever wondered about the things that you have prayed for earlier in your life and then you suddenly realized that you actually got answered right after you had prayed for it?

I did. 

Several times.

And because it was almost everyday, even on saying a little prayer that I hope I can sit at the front seat of the jeepney, I tend to forget to be grateful to God. And when another crisis comes, I easily forget that the only answer to this certain problem is to pray to Him earnestly.

I saw an old journal of mine a while ago and I read some of the entries I wrote during the time that I was reading the book entitled Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren. There was this particular entry regarding a day when I was waiting for a job offer from the first company I worked with. It kept me smiling because I really got the job and I had been with them for 6 years. 

God is really faithful in making our prayers answered. It may not be what exactly we hoped for or when we wanted it to be answered but He has better and grandeur plans for letting us wait. His timing is perfect.
