Why "Shinmaum" ?
Shin or Xin is the pinyin (system of transcribing Chinese Characters) for this character: 心 which means 'Heart'.
Maum / Ma-eum is the romanization (system of representing Korean language )for these characters: 마음 meaning 'Heart'.
My real name is from the Spanish word of 'Heart'.
I have been fascinated by these two cultures and even tries to learn everything about them including their language. I have two wonderful friends who support and join me in this 'hobby' during college days. They always call me 'shin' or 'maum'.
